Clinical Education Director-Emergency Medicine

The Clinical Education Director for Emergency Medicine (CED-EM) reports to the Chair of the Department of Medical Education & Clinical Sciences (DMECS). Serves as the thought leader for the college in the development, design, coordination, and implementation of the Emergency Medicine curriculum, fosters a positive and inclusive academic environment for learners and faculty and assures comparability of experiences and equivalency of learner assessment across campuses.
The CED will collaborate with leadership to ensure integration across the continuum of medical education, clinical practice, and scholarship and with stakeholders to create clinical education experiences.

The position will allow for flexibility to accommodate the incumbent’s clinical activities with an FTE ranging from 50-90%. The incumbent may be based at any Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine Clinical Campuses located in Spokane, Tri-Cities, Vancouver or Everett.
