PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP
Ultrasound Hands-on Vascular Access
Sunday, May 11
12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM
This workshop is designed for all practitioners responsible for vascular access. It will teach you how to utilize bedside ultrasonography to improve your success rates and improve patient care when placing both central and peripheral lines. The faculty will cover the basics of ultrasound line placement and then spend a great deal of time in lab practicing lines in phantoms. Models are also used to practice, review and identify the anatomy and landmarks. At the conclusion of this workshop you will be able to apply ultrasound vascular access knowledge with confidence in the performance of vascular access procedures.
